Les Sylphides painting from Ballerinas series was inspired by romantic ballets' Sylphides of the 19th century. While developing the image I reflected on the ethereal and on same time ephemeral nature of dance and dancing body. Dark mystic fantasies and stage lighting gives me absolute freedom in the color-decisions making in that series.
